Membership

 

Membership of The Association is open to all serving and ex-serving members of HM Naval and Marine Forces and affiliated bodies, although consideration will be given to applications from anyone not in any of these categories wishing to support the Association in its activities.

 

Our members are based all over the UK and in fact those in active service could be anywhere in the world. We gather as many members as possible together a couple of times a year to support the Royal Navy's Volunteer Bands at events such as their annual Band Competition and Koln Carnival. We have also supported the Royal Marines Band Service at the prestigious South Coast Proms. We also occasionally have requests from the Services for solo pipers.

 

No kit is provided by the Association. The majority of our members play in their own local band and either wear their band kit or their own kit if they have it.
